The song, titled the same as the album, "SHINE FOREVER" was written by the most notable musicians in the K-Pop scene, such as BinTAGE, STEREO14, and Lish, with Jooheon and I.M’s participation in rap making. It is a dance number that combines futuristic and hip-hop elements. The song, which mixes the typical tone of K-Pop and the uniqueness of Monsta X, is gaining attention from fans worldwide. In particular, the lyrics including the romantic phrase meaning ‘I want to be forever in the light that is you’ are conquering the heart of the band's fans. This phrase is attracting more attention because it coincides with the storytelling of Monsta X. Having expressed their determination towards growth and going towards the light in their music and performances, the boy band seems to reveal their aspiration for a leap toward a representative K-Pop group with this new single that starts in a determined tone and intensifies as it goes toward the end.

Monsta X is a septet boy band consisting of Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M. After making their debut with the EP album "TRESPASS" in 2015, they began to attract attentions from home and abroad, receiving the 1theK Performance Award at the 7th MelOn Music Awards in 2015. In December 2015, the boys won the Next Generation Asian Artist Award at the 17th Mnet Asian Music Awards and established their position as Korean Wave stars in China, Japan and other Asian countries.
