K-pop

Introduction

‘Lo’ for London and ‘Ko’ for Korea, also a play on the word derived from ‘crazy’, our crazy passion for Kpop culture. We don’t expect workshop attendees to be the best dancers, we expect Kpop fans. It’s just all fun! All the money we make, we push back into the workshop to enable us to carry on providing UK Kpop fans with a positive environment to meet and share what they love (and to dance of course!). We do a self produced Kpop showcase in London called Hallyu Stage and invite everyone in the Kpop cover scene to take part as it is an opportunity for the whole community to collaborate. It just a way for us to raise awareness of the UK Kpop community, not just LoKo, and for people to recognise the continuously growing love for K-culture and an introduction for new KCulture fans. Most importantly, it’s a way for us to showcase talent and to celebrate everyone’s passion.
