  • University newspaper reporters from 10 universities in Beijing, 4 in Zhejiang, and 5 in Taiwan were invited to stay in Korea for 9 days to write about Korean traditional and modern cultures. The participants were reporters from 10 universities in Beijing, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Renmin University of China; 5 universities in Zhejiang, including Zhejiang University, and Zhejiang University of Science and Technology; and 5 universities in Taiwan, such as the National Taiwan University and the National Tsing Hua University.

    ‣ Exploring the Korean culture industry
The reporters visited Bukchon in central Seoul to look around traditional Korean houses. At Gyeongbokgung Palace, they listened to a professional guide to eagerly report. At the Namsan K Hanok Village, they learned how to personally write in Korean, followed by a night view up from the N Seoul Tower, a landmark of the city. In addition, they learned K-pop dances, watched a non-verbal performance musical of “Marionette,” and participated in the 16th Boryeong Mud Festival, where they made their reports.

    ‣ Exchanging with Korean families through homestays
The reporters stayed with Korean families in Incheon. They deeply communicated and exchanged cultural experiences with their foster families. During their homestay, they also built precious memories by shopping, cooking, and visiting major tourist sites in Incheon.
